This Privacy Policy explains how Rise Up Marketing (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles data in connection with the Cash PL BigQuery Pipeline (the “Application”), an internal tool we operate for our own business reporting.
1. Scope
The Application is used solely by Rise Up Marketing for internal financial reporting. It is not offered to the public, and we do not collect data from external consumers through it.
2. Data We Access
The Application connects to our QuickBooks Online company file through Intuit’s authorized APIs and accesses:
- Profit & Loss (cash-basis) accounting data, including account names, categories, and amounts;
- OAuth credentials (access and refresh tokens) issued by Intuit to authorize the connection.
The Application does not access bank account numbers, payment card data, payroll detail, or customer personally identifiable information beyond what appears in standard Profit & Loss reporting.
3. How We Use the Data
Accounting data is retrieved on a scheduled basis and loaded into our Google BigQuery data warehouse, where it powers internal dashboards (Looker Studio) showing cash-view profit and margins. The data is used only for our own management reporting.
4. Storage and Processing
Data is stored and processed within Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery for the reporting table and Secret Manager for credentials). Google operates as our infrastructure sub-processor. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in Secret Manager and are never exposed in application logs.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties. Access is limited to authorized Rise Up Marketing personnel and the Google Cloud services described above.
6. Retention
The reporting table is refreshed on each run and retains a rolling window of historical periods for trend analysis. Credentials are retained only while the integration is active and are revoked when the connection is disconnected.
7. Security
We follow least-privilege access controls: the Application runs under a dedicated service account with only the permissions required, and secrets are managed through Google Secret Manager. QuickBooks refresh tokens are rotated automatically.
8. Intuit / QuickBooks Data
Our use of QuickBooks Online data complies with Intuit’s developer terms. Intuit data is used only to provide the internal reporting described above.
9. Modification
Rise Up Marketing may modify the Agreement from time to time to reflect changes in the business, changes in technology, and changes in relevant laws or regulatory requirements. If Rise Up Marketing does so, you may be notified by email to the email address you have provided. Such modification shall be effective upon the posting of the revised Agreement on the Rise Up Marketing website. You agree to be bound by any changes to the Agreement when you use the Application after any such modification is posted on the Rise Up Marketing website.
10. Viruses and Malware
Rise Up Marketing shall accept no liability for any virus or malware contracted as a result of using the Application and will not be liable for any claim, loss, damage, costs, or expenses suffered or incurred by you as a result of the presence of any virus or malware in the Application.
11. Choice of Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois without regard to the conflicts of laws rules of any jurisdiction. Every dispute concerning the interpretation or effect of the Agreement shall be resolved in the state or federal courts situated in the State of Illinois. You agree to the personal jurisdiction, subject matter jurisdiction, and venue of these courts.

13. Changes
